About Trade Options

Overview

Trade options on NFTDEX are AI-derived opportunities to trade your NFTs. Unlike direct one-to-one offers, trade options connect users through complex multi-party trade mapping, allowing your NFTs (supply) to be exchanged for others (demand). By analyzing active offers, the NFTDEX AI algorithm generates these multilateral opportunities to maximize trade success.

Trade options provide greater flexibility and liquidity, significantly increasing the probability of finding successful trades. They dynamically evolve as new offers are created, ensuring continuous opportunities to maximize your NFT trading potential.

The dynamic nature of trade options ensures that inactive, invalid, or conflicting offers are automatically dismissed in real-time. This makes it easier for users to focus on actionable and valid trade opportunities.

Key Features

The NFTDEX Options page equips users with tools to explore, filter, and accept trade options efficiently. Key functionalities include:

  • Supply Filtering: Select an NFT from your collection to filter trade options where it is used as supply.
  • Demand Preview: Quickly preview the NFTs you will receive in exchange for your supply by clicking on each trade option.
  • Dynamic Trade Mapping: NFTDEX's advanced algorithm maps multilateral trade chains, connecting users through multi-party possibilities beyond simple one-to-one trades.
  • Seamless Trade Acceptance: Instantly execute a trade by accepting a trade option. The platform automatically performs the transaction, transferring all NFTs securely through smart contracts.

How to Navigate Trade Options

Follow these steps to make the most out of the trade options available to you:

  1. Filter by Supply: Use the "Supply (select to filter)" section to view trade options specific to an NFT in your wallet. You can toggle between NFTs to dynamically update the displayed options.
  2. Review Trade Options: Browse through the grid of trade options and preview the demand NFTs (the ones you'll receive) for each option. Thumbnail views make quick evaluation easy.
  3. Open Detailed View: Click on a trade option to open a modal that displays the full details, including the NFTs you are offering (supply) and those you will receive (demand).
  4. Accept Trade Option: If you are satisfied with the trade terms, click "Accept Trade" in the modal and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  5. Verify Trade Completion: Navigate to the "Trade History" page to confirm the completed trade and view detailed transaction records in the linked blockchain explorer.

Tips for Success

  • Send Multiple Offers: Trade options are derived from active offers. By creating at least 5 offers per NFT, you can expand your opportunities and ensure maximum AI-generated options.
  • Act Quickly: Trade options are dynamic and can change as new offers are created. Regularly refresh the Options page to stay updated on new possibilities.
  • Evaluate Demand Thoroughly: Before accepting an option, carefully review the demand NFTs to ensure they align with your trading goals and preferences.
  • Filter Strategically: Use the "Supply (select to filter)" option to focus on NFTs you are more willing to trade. This narrows down trade opportunities that are most relevant and valuable to your collection.
  • Dynamic Nature of Options: Trade options are not static; they evolve as the marketplace changes. The NFTDEX AI continuously evaluates active offers to produce new options. If supply or demand NFTs in a trade option become "Not For Trade" or change ownership, the option is automatically dismissed.

Common Scenarios and Solutions

  • My Trade Options Changed or Disappeared: This happens when the supply or demand NFTs in a trade option are marked as "Not For Trade," lose approval, or change ownership. To resolve this, verify your active offers and NFTs to ensure they are still eligible for trade.
  • I Accepted an Option, but the Trade Didn't Complete: This can occur if an involved NFT transfer fails (due to ownership changes or approval status). In such cases, the trade is automatically canceled to prevent partial transactions. Check your offers and create new ones if necessary.
  • I Don't See Trade Options for My NFT: Trade options depend on matches among active offers. If no matches exist, consider renewing expired offers, sending additional offers, or adjusting your supply and demand to be more appealing to other users.
